Statline is pleased to announce electronic donor referral capabilities to DonorTrac Plus. These capabilities enable your teams and organizations save more lives, faster!
Purpose:
Automatically, securely and in an FDA-validated manner, transfer donor referral data from a referral source case management system (such as hospital EMR, medical examiner/coroner or other systems) into an electronic donor record within DonorTrac Plus. The referring system users don’t have do anything special or different. The intelligence built into the system – based on predefined criteria – will transmit in real-time, a referral to DonorTrac Plus.
Results:
The system meets the requirements using a secure, purpose-built web service to accept data from the case management software, present it to a person for review, and then use the data to create a new referral in your electronic donor record within DonorTrac Plus. Once the data has been acted on – whether accepted or rejected – the system returns a status to the referring source system, with information about the disposition of the case or referral.
Conclusion:
The system saves time and reduces risk of errors. Donation recovery can move ahead in a timely and effective manner. Feedback is provided to the referral teams, letting them know if this referral can become a donor and encouraging them to continue entering additional data to support donation.
